7+ ROAS in 14 Days with Google Ads

We entered two new, complex e-commerce markets: the UAE and Saudi Arabia. The niche was competitive: contact lenses. We needed to find customers quickly and turn a profit despite high regional advertising costs.
How we fixed it
We launched a four-campaign structure on Google Ads. This setup got us fast data and maximum control.
- Performance Max (PMax): Used for wide-reach and quick market entry across all Google channels.
- Shopping Campaign: Targeted customers ready to buy products immediately.
- Search Exact Match: Captured high-intent non-branded searches.
- Search Brand: Protected our brand name and ensured the lowest CPA.
This focused setup allowed us to learn and scale fast.



Results
The launch was successful. We achieved an ROAS of 7+ within two weeks. The strategy created an immediate, profitable path in a new international market.
- Two-thirds of our users are on mobile (66.37%), and they drive 84% of all purchases and 78% of all revenue. This reflects that it's crucial to have a complete and well-optimized mobile version of the website.
- Despite launching campaigns in both the UAE and Saudi Arabia (KSA), initial revenue and conversion volume were heavily skewed. Almost all conversions originated from the UAE. So we focused on that market.
- The best-sellers were clear lenses for eyesight from brands Acuvue and Alcon.
